This is a nice and well made bowtie. It has a patriotic and summer style. It also is a very nice and deep red color and can be very formal. I wore this to a friend’s wedding and received a lot of compliments. This tie is a dark enough red to look great on black, any blues, any greys, and even Khaki suits if you want. This tie will also look classic and good with a variety of shirts and sport jackets. It’s a thicker material and has a nice texture. I’m sure it can be worn anytime throughout the year. It ties into a nice bow. I prefer a diamond tip because they’re elegant, eccentric and more stylish than standard ones or Jumbo’s (yuk). I’m a bigger and taller guy so the standard height of 2.25-2.5" is more of a classic style. Very nice bowtie.

This is my first bowtie, so I wasn’t sure of what to look for in a quality bowtie. This is a very high quality bowtie that looks great.

The neck is adjustable from 13 3/4" to 18 3/4" in 1/4" increments. I noticed that you should adjust the neck about a quarter to ahalf inch larger than your measured neck size to account for the thickness added by your shirt collar. Find your neck size, adjust the length, put on the tie, and adjust accordingly.

This tie looks great and is made of very high quality silk. It is easy to put on and stays put. It is a great bowtie at a great price.

I’m not sure if they make the bow smaller but I’m 5’10", average build and the bow looked a bit large. Other than that minor observation, this a great bowtie, especially at this price.

I don’t get to wear a tie everyday, just on Sundays. This beautiful tie always gets a lot of nice compliments! Some of the other reviewers said that this tie – ties easily, is made of a thick material, holds up well, etc. They’re right, of course. I asked a friend of mine who is a “gentleman’s tailor” about this tie. He said it’s silk but its weave is a little unusual by today’s standards. He called it a “saglia” weave. It’s as close to a “corduroy” as you can get, working with a material as soft as silk. That’s what gives this tie a little more strength and rigidness and it’s why it ties easily and stands out so prominently. He also said that this type of weave isn’t as common as it once was simply because it costs more to produce it. You can learn a lot from a tailor! Still, as you can see, the price is certainly reasonable for this great-looking tie and you’d easily pay much more for it elsewhere.

It is a well made good looking tie although I do feel it is just a touch big on the bows. Not laughable big but definitely not understated. I do like the color and stripe and it is relatively easy to tie but I do find the knot is on the bigger side. So I do like it but I tend to wear this only at certain times due to the sizing.

This is an exceptionally well made bow-tie. The material is thick and looks very nice – it’s not like a cheap knockoff. Honestly, this could almost pass as Brooks Brothers, and the design is a clear nod to the BB tie as well.

One caveat: Those with very large necks may not be able to wear this. I wear a shirt with a size 16 neck, and had this bow-tie adjusted within an inch of it’s maximum length,

My husband just recently started wearing bow ties on Fridays. He calls it bow tie Friday and his students look forward to it. I came home one afternoon and found my husband running back and forth from his laptop to the bathroom mirror, trying to teach himself how to tie a bow tie. I asked him why he hadn’t just brought the laptop into the bathroom with him. This all started because Dr. Who said bow ties are cool. I guess my husband will be wearing a Stetson next. I purchased this particular tie as a surprise for him since he only had one. He loves it and his students are impressed.

High quality bow ties are getting expensive and typically run $45-$60 from men’s stores like Brooks Brothers or Joseph Banks as well as the first rate department stores. You really cannot tell from the picture exactly what you are going to get. This tie delivers substantially thick quality silk, excellent workmanship and vibrant true colors. It ties perfectly. I purchased two of these ties (different colors) and plan to purchase more.

Wow! This bowtie looks grand and easy to tie.

For the price this is a great product. It is adjustable too which allows you to make it a better fit. The material is pretty good. I would recommend buying this
