I live in the Pacific Northwest, and these are perfect for this environment. They keep my feet comfortable in most of the temperature range here (30F-80F.) Cooling effect in heat, and warming in cold. The wool is great for keeping feet and shoes dry, resulting in reduced odor and fungal issues.

I chose this set of socks for the mid-weight, and for the availability of the solid black color, so I can wear them to work where I am indoors, and on my feet all day long. They are my everyday socks. They are comfortable, and the quality is good, and excellent for the price.

If you have never used wool socks, or had found them to be too itchy, these would be a great set to help you love wool. I have somewhat sensitive skin, and have owned itchy wool socks, but these don’t cause me any itching. Skin sensitivity is relative, so your mileage may vary. Wear one pair for two or three days, wash, air-dry, rotate, and three pairs will keep you going all week. At a third of the price of many other socks, these make a good gamble.

If you are travelling, two pairs could keep you going indefinitely.

Maybe it was me, my breathable water proof boots or something. I can still feel sweat after hiking of a few miles.

These socks are comfortable, warm, and retain their shape after many washings. Size is perfect! They look great too!

I love these socks. They’re comfortable, they don’t rub, my feet stay dry, and they wash and keep their shape well. The instructions say wash inside out, which I forget to do about half the time, but they don’t look any worse for the wear. Note: I have not worn them for more than a 10-mile hike or in extremely hot or cold weather, though I have worn them in a variety of terrains.

Great socks for boots and for hiking. Be sure to wear a liner for longer hikes.

The socks fit fine. When washed, they appear to shrink but when put on, they fit fine.

Socks are nice. Expected 4 pair because that’s what was shown in the pic. You get there pairs. Seems a bit misleading to me. I will not purchase again

Working in the oil patch, I wear these socks every day, all year round. Warm in the winter and not too bad in the summer, the built in padding these socks have make a world of difference when you’re on your feet all day, especially in work/gum boots. Added bonus, I have worn a pair of these for several days in a row while hunting (not proud of it but hear me out.) After probably 4 days of regular hiking in waterproof boots – so you know there’s some serious sweat action in there – they still did not really smell. They weren’t fresh by any means, but you could have them laying around and it didn’t smell like man foot. I have over a dozen pairs of these socks and they are terrific value. Virtually identical to Smart Wool for less than half the price.
