I don’t have words. The first time I tried this dress on was at Macy’s. I fell in love with it and couldn’t afford it. When I acquired the means I knew I had to have that Adrianna Papell dress in Charcoal. I am 5’2” and 125 lbs. The construction and bodice of this dress felt snug. It is my perfect dress. When i returned to Macy’s my size was no longer available. I looked for it long and hard on-line and finally found it! I was so happy! Not to mention the lace! 🙂 It almost glistens. I leave my dress with a dry cleaning bag over it to prevent the lace from possibly unraveling. Overall, this is my #1 dress in my entire closet. And I own Badgley Mischka dresses too. I wish I had it in all the colors.

Loved this dress! I am 5′ and 115 lbs. Bought the US size 4. The dress is form fitting on me and fell just above my knees. Padded bust allowed for wearing with no bra if you are a "C/D". It was still comfortable after a very large steakhouse dinner. Lace overlay is good quality and with very good weight. Not the light/sheer & delicate lace that you might find on some dresses. I would definitely recoomend the purchase.

My mom wore this to my wedding and I loved it for her! She said it was comfortable and really loved how it looked on her. The navy is VERY dark, but it’s a nice color.

August 2016 update: I liked this dress from the start, but returned it because the lace doesn’t have any stretch to it, and I wanted to be able to dance in it. Fast forward about 6 months later and after trying on dozens of dresses, I recently re-ordered it and think I’ve found a winner. This is such a beautifully constructed dress with many fine details. It’s very classy without being dowdy. I’ve been able to compare it to other dresses in all price ranges, and am very impressed with the quality. I’ve tried on many Adrianna Papell dresses in my search, and the sizing seems to be somewhat inconsistent. The lining is stretchy, but the lace is not. I would definitely size up on this one because there is no back vent in the skirt and it does tend to be a bit snug in the hips.

January 2016: This is a well-made, gorgeous dress, but it seems to run small and is snug in the hips. The all-over lace and two underskirts seem as if they would restrict movement. I would normally wear a size 6, but ordered a size 10 based on feedback from others. I have a number of other Adrianna Papell dresses but this one seems smaller overall.

The dress allows one to go bra-less because it covers and is thick; however it does not support, or lift because there are no cups in the bra, so I’ll still have to wear a strapless bra with it. The lace that covers the dress overall is a little too much, like a tablecloth or curtain, in my opinion. But I like the sheer lace at the top, and the back top is very pretty. The cut and fit is a sheath, not a lot of extra room along the hips/thighs, but it seems pretty true to size.

Im going to use this dress for my civil marriage in two weeks and it was love at the first sight. I have a big boobs and big back so i was worry about how fits me but surprisingly it was perfect. The color is not 100% navy actually its more like a deep purple but still a GORGEUS dress.

Love this dress! I am 5’9" 140lbs. Smaller on top than bottom, but this dress is forgiving enough to work. I bought a size 6 and I fit great! Wore it to a semi-formal dinner, many compliments. It is on the heavier side. Would not wear if it is really warm, but if in A/C a small sweater/cover-up is all that’s needed.

Based on other reviews, and the size chart; this dress does run small. I did order up an extra couple of sizes thinking I could have it altered if need be. It fits well and doesn’t need to be altered. The size chart is true to the measurements of the dress.

I will be wearing the dress to be married in, and feel it is perfect for this occasion.

It was beautiful, but it was too small and I had to return it as I needed it for an event and didn’t have time to re-order a larger size. Amazon handled the return and refund quickly.
