What They Say About ‘7 FOR ALL MANKIND MEN’S CARSEN EASY STRAIGHT LEG JEAN’
I had initially reviewed this as a 3-4 star, but on a hunch, I ordered a different size… perfect fit! Let me give you a little background:
I typically wear 30 waists in most brands for khakis, jeans, slacks, suits, etc. With 7FAM jeans, I typically had ordered a 29 waist with their Austin and Brett cuts. The Carsen cuts, in the past, I have been able to get away with 30 waists, giving me a more casual look and fit, but of late, I noted the 30 waist with Carsen no longer works for me. I sized down to a 29… problem solved. The world is okay, 7FAM is still the best brand of jeans out there!
What I love is this blue is a great color and I love the fade. The cut is perfect for slender builds like myself. As usual, 7FAM does not offer multiple heights (I typically have 30 length) so I have to get them hemmed. There is no over the top knee fading or whiskering, so I could get these hemmed without having a goofy pattern on my shins. Material is durable, flexible and super soft and comfy. I have several pairs of 7FAM, mainly in the Carsen, Brett and Austyn styles, and will continue to use them as my “go to” jeans.
but the legs are very long (34-35" inseam)–the cuffs end up dragging and wearing out first unless you have them re-hemmed. They are very soft, the color is good and I like the fact that they run a little "thin" on the material sometimes. The last pairs of these I’ve owned I had for several years before they ripped and I expect the same from these.
A word on price–You can usually find "7’s" on sale around $70-$80 so that’s the price I typically hold out for.
Wasted money, baggy fit, have to wear belt all the time, even though they are stretchy. Had same size in Chester Park before (both Easy Straight Leg), did not want to take them off, loved it so much, so comfortable it was. After decided to buy this, big mistake! This pair, Ether Blue, I am ashamed to wear, only nights for errands. No consistency 7 For All Mankind!
The size is larger than normal
Item arrived on time and fits perfect.
Love the soft cotton 7 jeans!
The waist fits well, but it is too long to wear.
