What They Say About ‘KIDZ BANZ ADVENTURE SUNGLASSES’

I have had a hard time trying to find something to protect my sons eyes while wearing his helmet that he needs to wear 23 hours out of the day. Regular hats had huge bills on him. Regular sunglasses will not fit under the helmet. 2% of babies will need one of these helmets and I’m truly shocked there is nothing on the market geared to protecting the babies eyes! The circumference of the outside of the helmet is 19". The only negative is they are hard to get centered due to the strap only adjusting on one side.

these fit almost like goggles, so unless the bridge of your child’s nose is high, your kid might be left with temporary imprint. they’re very sturdy and can take a beating, but they don’t stay on the head very well: either they begin to ride up, but more often, the strap at the back slides down. so it needs to be refit somewhat often. that being said, they’re still much better and more fun to wear than regular shades. and because they fit close to the eyes, they provide better protection from the sun, which is what you really want from a pair of shades.

i recommend getting a color which contrasts from the background you plan to use these in for easier retrieval, i.e. get red if you’re gonna use them for swimming, just in case you need to look for them.

The only reason I didn’t give these a 5 was because a strap was sewn on upset down. It’s really not a big issue but you can’t reverse it without resewing. I was surprised by so many negative reviews as we love these uv glasses. We bought a baby pair and a toddler pair. We have average size kids and these were great on the beach. When we were finally able to get cooperation from the 2 1/2 year old hers were great on the beach and at the pool. We put the top half of her thin silky hair in a pony tail and then we were able put on the glasses without slipping. Over all we really think they are worth the money on sunny day near water.

We started my little one with the Kidz Banz in the infant size when he was a newborn and got the toddler size when he got older. He is right on the edge between the two sizes (at 19 months, 95th percentile head); the infant is a bit small on the smallest setting and the toddler size is a bit big on the smallest. But that’s okay, he will be in the bigger size in due course. The band is comfortable and adjustable and is far, far superior to sunglasses with arms. The sunglasses stay in place, and having put them on him starting when he was a newborn means that he mostly leaves them alone.

Great glasses! We love them!

We already had a pair of Banz, they are blue and wanted another color. Did not realize when i ordered them that the Orange ones are KIDS size, not Baby size. They are too big for now, but will fit soon. I am not disappointed, as it is my fault i did not read description fully. My Granddaughter is 10 months old, and the Baby Banz fit perfectly. The Kids Banz are just made for bigger babies, and she is not big enough yet. It seems like the actual glasses exactly the same size, the difference is the strap. The Kids Banz have a bigger strap than the Baby Banz do and they do not fit her head correctly. She loves her Baby Banz and doesnt ever try to take them off, but I think they fit her more comfortably. .

We were really excited about these for our 4 yr old son but they ended up hurting him within minutes of putting them on. They seemed a little small for the older kids in the recommended age group, barely covering the eye area. In fact, we compared them too our baby banz and theres hardly any size difference. They pinched the bridge of his nose and left scratches. The only thing we liked was the soft adjustable strap that fit comfortably and can fit many widths. The baby banz fit our infant perfectly but would not recommend the kidz size

If you’re like me then you tend to buy stuff for your kids that’s just a little big so they don’t grow out of it too quickly. When I got these I noticed there were some for younger kids to size 2 and then these ages 2 to 5. Since I was buying for my 2 yr old and she happens to have inherited my big head I figured the bigger ones are the safest bet…but turns out I have to pull the strap all the way to the end of the Velcro to get them to stay on and they still slide down her face. I’m hoping they fit better as she gets older. They look cute and are a good quality, just not fitting like I thought.

Purchased these for my 2 year old to replace his outgrown Baby Banz. I’ve tried to keep his eyes protected from the sun since he was born due to recent studies about cataracts forming from a young age. He loves them and wears them without complaint – even asks for them! They are super cute and I know he is better protected from the sun.

perfect for our 2 year old busy boy. He’s almost 2 & is at that in between age for sunglasses. The kid glasses are a little too loose & he’s definitely not an infant. These are a good in between. The band stays on, though I imagine it is hot in the Texas sun, but all the kid glasses kept falling forward down his tiny nose so this was our only option. The lenses are big enough that they don’t look too small.

I started with the toddler sunglasses when my kid was 2 and love them! They stay on and are polarized which most are not.
Bought the retro baby ones for a friend but they have yet to use them. Would recommend to everyone but I advise starting early since lots of kids just take sunglasses off. I pair these with a hat to get total protection as we are in the sun over 9 months of the year.
