Purchased this costume for our 2 y/o for our Disney Cruise. It is TOOO cute! It’s light-weight and all the accessories really add that extra cute factor. He actually liked wearing the bandanna as well and didn’t want to take it off. Regarding sizing – even though he just turned 2 and is on the skinnier side, I purchased the 3T/4T size based on other reviews regarding sizing. The shirt fit him perfectly, but the pants were too long and the waist too wide, but that was easily fixed by cutting the pants shorter and gathering the waist and pinning it. Again, 5 stars and too cute!!
Got for my 2 yr old who is average size. The shirt is short but he has a short torso so it’s fine on him the pants are super big and I will have to sew the waist band to stay up. The head scarf and waist tie are just fine.
My son loved this costume for Halloween and he looked so cute! I just wish it came with a sword. That was the first thing he asked for when he tried it on lol But it was great!
Buying a halloween costume for your 2 year old might be a pain, specially when you know it will be worn once. ( duh! ) but paying under $20 for this costume set no more pain 🙂 i wish the sword had came with it. Thanks!
My two year old is recently into pirates so I ordered this for him for Halloween this year. He is 2.5 now and on the smaller side, but it fits OK. I’ll have to safety pin the pants tighter probably. He tried it on and the cuteness almost killed me. He loved it. He started running around saying "Arrrg!" I think he will probably even use it for play after Halloween is over.
For the low-cost, I was extremely happy with this costume. It fit my son perfectly and he looked adorable in it. The material wasn’t top-notch but it was stretchy and comfortable. I couldn’t be happier with the product!
My daughter decided on a pirate themed birthday party and wanted everyone to dress up so we bought this costume for her brother. For the money it’s cute. The shirt is made of that not so quality costume material but it was fine for what it was for and since her birthday was in May the thinner materials actually paid off since it was hot out. I would buy it again in a heart beat – my lil guy looked adorable in the costume, he was happy and comfortable and that’s all that really matters.
The shirt is very short, otherwise great costume for the price! My son is 4 and still wears the pants every now and then!
Very cheap materials but a very cheap price. Worked perfect for Halloween. Looked adorable and didnt cost a fortune for something he’ll wear once. One complaint, as other reviewers stated the shirt is VERY short. Buy a size up. The pants are also VERY wide. If your little one is skinny, be prepared to modify. I used a paper binder and it worked fine. I’d give this 4 stars for price and looks but had to knock it down on fit.
