I was so excited when I tried this on and it fit perfectly! I am 5’3" and a size 12… curvy (38D) with a bit of a stress belly. This dress fit very well and, as long as I stood up straight & sucked in the belly, it looked stunning (my husband and son’s words, not mine)! It’s not the dresses fault that this wearer has a gut… bearing three children, aging and stress did that! I should have bought some Spanx to wear underneath so I wouldn’t have had to be so ever-conscious of my posture but, even without, the style accentuated the positive and minimized the negative. I wore it to my granddaughter’s first communion mass and reception and I felt very appropriately dressed. The lace at the top is sheer and the v neckline does show a hint of décolletage but, as long as the underdress is properly adjusted when putting it on (make sure the top of the underdress doesn’t fold under where it is stitched to the lace overlay), it covers everything it needs to cover – even for a Catholic church event. The zipper is a tad sticky as another reviewer mentioned (I think it wan’ts to catch on the lace right at the waistline, where the dress is the most snug), but I found the lace to be very soft and fluid, the material of the underdress soft and sturdy, both with a nice drape – neither feels cheap in the least! I’ll just continue to be careful and zip slowly…I can’t wait to wear this dress again!
This dress is perfect for my body shape Iam uk size 12 , 5"6 tall and 34b bra size. The only thing that got me confused is that I thought that usa size 10 it was a size 12 uk. When I read the label it said uk 14 on the dress this can’t be right because I know I’m a uk 12 always. Anyway it doesn’t matter it fits perfect.
Purchased this dress a week before I was getting married. Had to have top taken in. I liked it alot, but didn’t love it. We were married on Saturday and saw the photos and now I love it. I actually loved the way it looked on me, I am mostly critical of the way I look. But, I felt modern and everyone told me I looked great. So, that is important. Glad I purchased this dress.
This fit well, looks nice and I paid exactly the right amount for it. 4 stars because it not incredibly amazing, and because the zipper at the back is sticky, and that could cause problems in the future.
I have changed "size" this year and unfortunately this didn’t fit – Ok on top but tight in the hips. It has a beautiful sillouette and good quality material and I would have worn it to my son’s wedding if it fit.
Hard to find dress. I kept checking Amazon everyday until it finally showed up in my size. Fits perfect, size 4. Back slit lets you move. Lace is beautiful. Love the color, not too purple. Wearing to daughter’s wedding. Love Adrianna Papell dresses.
I bought this dress to wear to my daughter’s wedding. I knew the designer sized a bit large, so it was ok to buy a on the smaller side. Adrianna Papell designs are a perfect fit for that perfect occasion….and the price through Amazon can’t be beat!!
I love this dress. The color is pretty and the design is very flattering on me. It is also very comfortable and fully lined. The lace is beautiful and makes the dress very fancy. Have to be careful with the zipper though.
I’m not a true 12 so the top lace part fits a little large and will need some tailoring. Otherwise it’s a good fit and flattering.
It fits perfectly and is exactly what I wanted. The colour us a ice plum colour and the neckline is not too low.
