I’ve been lifting weights for over 50 years. I have always had shoulder issues which have steadily gotten worse through the years, but oddly enough while super heavy weightlifting likely contributed to my shoulder issues, prudent weightlifting now serves to help them if I am careful in what I do and how I do it and I am. These compression shirts help quite a bit in that regard. I am less sore after lifting and my muscles and joints recover more quickly. I believe I get these benefits without any noticeable affect on my degree of conditioning.
I have never worn compression anything before and now have 3 of these shirts. They have lasted for over 3 years with each one getting used weekly (lift 3 days a week) and other than the lettering wrinkling a bit, they are functionally perfect.
I am 5′ 10" tall and 200 lbs. and the extra large fit me well; a little snug but that is how they are supposed to fit. They work and last.

I purchased mainly for my Strong lefts power lifting exercise I paired with the Leg part from same company 2XU
You can’t imagine the results I’m not new to weight lifting already doing 300+ pound Dead left and 350+ pound free barbell squat in compare to my body size and weight it’s outstanding
My progress was a bit slower before using 2XU gear, but after using I can really feel I’m doing faster workouts and rest in between workouts halved from 4-5 min to 2-3min
Not that only I found myself preferring to use the compression suit when I go to other sport activities, like clamping and doing some sea activities.
Quality:
Outstanding, I was climbing a wooden bridge and my back hit an old wooden panel full of small partials which can easily cut any type of cloth at first I thought my Suit is damage cause I felt the hit on my back… but after checking I was surprised nothing happened to the suit.
Additional to that I put the squat barbell directly on my back without using support cotton, with 300-400 pound on the bar and still the suit didn’t get damage from the bar metal.
I will buy more of those 2XU suits 100 %
Definitely provides the compression you are looking for. I bought to my normal sizing, and it is difficult to put on and take off…however once on, it does seem to do it’s job and there is no restriction in movement. This is first compression shirt for me, so maybe this is the way it is supposed to be. Regardless, this is high quality and I believe it does the job on helping to keep my body/shoulders together when lifting or doing full body exercise. I definitely recommend it.
Only complaint is based on the shirtsleeve version I bought….it came with no tags, clearly was crumpled up in the box, box was damaged and I could tell it had been worn. Very disappointing for any product, but definitely when $99 for a shirt. If returns were not annoying, I would have sent back, but decided to wash and live with it.
This is an improvement over 2XU’s discontinued compression short sleeve top. I notice that it provides better compression in the shoulder–upper trapezius area. It is an excellent cycling base layer and it practically tight enough to be used for recovery. It is supposed to be tight so go by 2XU’s table. I am normally medium but small in these type of compression gear.
But while being a big UA supporter.Comparing to how they fit….get it next size up..Why you ask? because the material is better,denser,thicker so hense it takes more room between you and shirt.Other than that..it is the best.You pay for it but well worth it if you have as many injuries as me.also the Amazone prime is priceless especially at this time of year.
No BS. The recovery shirt works. Significantly less sore in the morning when I wear the shirt to sleep.
It is quiet fit! The size is just perfect for my husband, and he loves it very much. He cannot wait to wear on it to do exercise.

This has no compression technology at all. Which was oppositely expected since its the elite model. Other models like Adidas PowerWeb offers much more compression.
Also this is not comfortable around the neck.
This shirt was too tight in the shoulders and armpits , very uncomfortable, I always take a large so I guess they run small, can’t really rate how well it works until I return it and try the XL
