Got this for my wife to use as a day bag on a trip. Originally, she feared it would be too small, but it worked perfectly for her. It held everything she needed to carry for a seven day bus tour. It was light, but not flimsy. And it was very easy to stow under an airplane seat.
3 things to consider:
1. The bag has only one fairly small outside pocket, none on the inside. (It can hold a passport, for example, if you don’t zip the pocket closed.)
2. The pad on the shoulder strap tends to slide and requires adjusting from time to time.
3. The duffle we received is more cube-like than curved (as it appears in the photo of the red bag). My wife preferred the squared off upper edges because they provided more room for things like her iPad mini inside.
Great little bag. Not sure why people have been harping on the quality, seems well enough made to me. What did people expect for 10 bucks?
Since I don’t carry a lot to the gym it is just the right size for me…carries my water bottle, wallet, towel, gloves, and cell phone with quite a bit of room to spare. Could no doubt fit shoes in there as well. Mine came with a longer strap in addition to the sewn in handles so I have a few options for how to carry it. I can look a bit like purse which makes me a little uncomfortable, but I’d rather keep carrying this than switch to something bulkier that will be way more than I need.
Very well made bag that served many purposes. I mainly used it as a soccer bag. I could fit my cleats, shin guards, uniform, water bottle, and more. Bag held up through rough conditions too. Could be used for an over night, but not big enough to pack for multiple days. The convenient and easy to acces outside pocket makes a good storing place for keys or money. 10/10
I bought this small 14 inch bag for a 2 day stay at the hospital coming up next week. It is just the right size for a few pairs of socks and underwear, toiletries bag, makeup and brush etc bag, and a big shirt to sleep in, shorts and a tee shirt for the walk down the hall! Very good quality and the price is reasonable, great buy!
I got this so that I would have something small and lightweight for the gym. It has a tiny zippered section on the outside that fits a comb or couple of small keys. There is one main compartment. There are smaller handles for hand carrying and a larger strap which will go over one’s shoulder. The zippers are not very heavy duty but they are serviceable. I would not recommend overloading the bag. There is no separate compartment for a wet swim suit. However I like it because it is inexpensive and very light weight. If I purchased a gym bag that had extra compartments and a better zipper, I would have had to pay more and get a heavier bag. It easily fits the items I need for the gym.
This small bag fits perfectly inside my gym bag. I use it to carry my purse in while I’m inside the gym. Then I leave my larger bag in the locker. There’s been so much theft even in this higher class gym that I can’t risk leaving my purse in the locker. Well made and tough material
I just received my bag, used it once and love it! I brought an 18" bag home from a store, and could tell almost instantly that the 14" would be the size I needed. I pack shoes, socks, and workout tops and bottoms, and there is plenty of room to add a smallish bath towel if I wanted one. Note that I wear a size 6 1/2 (37 or 37.5) shoe; someone w a much larger shoe size would want a larger version of the bag.
The constructin seems good, especially for a bag at this price. The fabric is okay, the hardware uses more plastic than I would like, but again, this is an "entry level" bag.
I had three VERY minor issues w the bag:
1. The adjustable step attaches w a plastic mechanism that is very stiff, and I found it difficult to get it to work.
2. The outside packet is rather small. It will hold my earbuds, my very small padlock, and my gym membership cars, and that’s about it.
3. Aft re working out, I normally just change shoes and go home in the workout clothes, so my gym shoes and my street clothes go into the bag. This was a pretty tight fit with a turtleneck and a sweater w any bulk at all. But I did get it all in.
If this is what you want — a basic gym bag at a good price — this is what you want.
Love it. I have been looking for a small duffle bag (that’s slightly bigger than my purse but not so big as a tote) and this is the perfect grab and go size. Has a side pocket (and foldable bottom but does have some bottom support) Neckstrap included. For the price it’s gold!
I really like this little bag. I use it daily when going to the gym. I really don’t see anything wrong with the quality. Keep in mind the low price. Well worth the money. Yes, it would be better if the one side pocket was a bit larger. It holds my car keys and a couple other small objects. I had hoped it would be big enough to hold my phone and wallet. No way. So I found a small zippered pouch that both fit in and simply drop it into the bag. Having them together in the smaller pouch I can easily find it inside the bag without looking among all my other gym stuff. In short, I like this little bag. It fits my needs perfectly.
