Pay attention to the directions on the patch. If you are attempting to put it on anything thicker than cloth, such as canvas or leather, it will take more applications of ironing to make it stick completely flat. One recommendation is warm of the bottom of the patch with a hair dryer, and I stronger encourage this as it took 3 attempts (which equates to 9 minutes of ironing on) to get my patch to stick. Overall, my canvas backpack was a bit thick and I got the patch to stick, albeit it’s a cm or 2 loose on the bottom. I have the option of either sewing it completely on, using glue (which is a recommendation), or seeing if it will fall off.
Right now I will see if it falls off – and if it does I will update my rating/review.
