If you want to draw attention to yourself in a positive way at a formal event, this bowtie is the way to go. I got a ton of compliments on it. If you’ve never tied a bowtie before, then give yourself a few days to practice before you plan on wearing it out because it is more difficult than a long tie.
A sharp-looking bow tie. Has earned me a lot of compliments, but that may be because people are more impressed with the fact that I can actually tie a bow tie. Gets 4 stars because it is big and not as slim as I’d like.
Great for formal occasions, or just to step-up my work attire to the next level. All of my Tie Bar bow ties have been of excellent quality. I was originally inspired to start wearing bow ties by Murray Rothbard (I called them ‘Roth-bows’) but enjoyed wearing them so much that I haven’t worn a straight tie for almost a year. I get complements on them almost daily.
This is a nicely constructed bowtie. The fabric has just enough stiffness to make tying it easy, and it’s smooth enough so that the fabric doesn’t fray as I tie and untie it over and over. Also, the color looks better in person, than it does in the pictures. It’s much brighter than the picture shows, but not in a flashy way.
Great look and great quality. This pattern is a little adventurous, but you should be used to adventure if you are a bowtie wearer. Fully adjustable and comfortable.
I love this tie with many of my shirts, the colors work together so well. It is very distinctive and I have gotten many complements on it.
