I was skeptical about a $15 tie being any good, but they surprised me. I purchased this one as a test, and I’ll be ordering plenty more in the future. Don’t get me wrong, these aren’t “luxury seven-fold, silk ties” or anything, but they are definitely better than any cheapo ties you would buy at Kohl’s or other department store. I liken the quality and thickness to some Calvin Klein ties I own. I have some nicer ties of course, but they easily cost 3 times the money.
The material had a strong unpleasant industrial smell that has never really gone away. The smell is so strong that I cannot imagine that others do not smell it.
Although the the tie looks good for the money, I cannot recommend it because of the smell.
Very nice all silk tie … will go with most outfits … dress or sport. You will not be disappointed with your purchase. I will buy in the future to give as gifts.
