I bought these socks for a costume and general wear, but they were way too heavy-duty for my liking. Starting from a few inches above the ankle and throughout the toe area, these socks are super thick. If you’re looking for a legitimate sock for roller skating, hiking boots, etc., these would be great for you. The’re also really cute and I loved the retro feel. However, if you’re like me and are just looking for some cute knee highs to wear with sneakers, try a different pair. These are so thick at the bottom it looked like I had a cankle situation.

We bought these socks for a half marathon along with matching shirts. I was really worried that I would get more blisters than normal from having non-athletic socks on. Luckily I just the two blisters in the usual places I get from long runs. I would say around mile 8 they started slipping down to about half calf, but that was after about an hour and 10 minutes of running, so I was not surprised. Now that I’ve worn them a few times they seem to be stretching out a little.

I want to note that the color on the listing appears teal/greenish. When we got them we were disappointed that they seemed more blue than we anticipated. They didn’t match our shirts as well as we had wanted due to the difference in color. They are just tube socks, so there is no contour in the foot area. It’s uniform all the way down. They definitely served their purpose.

Not only do these make great boot socks during the winter time, but in the summer they are a fun way to add personality to your workout attire. Can’t wear these without a smile! Great quality, thicker sock towards the ankle so it keeps my shoes from rubbing or causing blisters. Wear them pulled up to the knee, or scrunched slightly. You gotta get you a few pairs!

Hits right below the knee, soft, high quality and thick !! I am 5 ft 2, 125 pounds with an athletic body with thick legs and they fit me perfect and don’t fall down.

Love these! Can dress these up more modern than the old kind that were white with stripes. These are cool because you can casually create a style all your own

I like them because they are comfortable and stay up without sliding down my calves. But, they have a fine, fuzzy texture that seems cheap and they shrink a bit after the first wash.

I bought these socks first two years ago when I was on a teal kickball team (i bought them with teal stripes). Now, I wear a skirt to play kickball and so my legs are pretty bare, knee socks are a great way to protect them while at the same time adding some spruces up fashion details to the field. I had always worn knee socks, but there was something about these specific ones. I just had to slide wearing them. First time I did it, it was thrilling, I have not been able to go back on it since. Now I slide every chance I have to get a little dirt in the skirt.

I now have them in teal and Pink and, as captain I purchase said socks for my team too. ***Please note*** they have not also inspired all of my teammates to get down and dirty.

Bought as gift. Good quality. Fits well with extra padding on foot. Friend wore them for 8K race. Only negative – Advertising stamp on bottom of sock.

Wore these with my St Paddy’s day ensemble for Steve Aoki – cute and warm!

Bought these for an 80s themed 5k race. I wasn’t sure how they were going to be as I only wear no-show running socks when I run, but these were pretty comfortable and soft and they didn’t slide down one bit which was my biggest fear. I wear these around the house now as they are so comfy!
