I am not an athlete, rather I have a genetic cardiac disease called hypertrophic cardiomyopathy and a severe arrhythmia disorder. Because I have a very low heart pumping function, my circulation is awful, and I’ve been fighting with TED hose and the like for over a year. After searching and searching, I came across these compression tights. They are very easy to get on, they are comfortable, and they WORK. I am 5’11" and I weigh 185 lbs. Wanting the best compression possible, I ordered a medium. When they arrived I thought they looked like they would fit a toddler, but I put them on and lo and behold, they fit. They are tight around my belly, but they stay put and are awesome. They give me compression and support and ease the pain in my legs, which on a good day is easily a 10, on a bad day the pain in my legs are so bad I struggle to walk. I wear these daily and they have helped me tremendously with the pain. I wear these with the 2XU women’s elite compression performance sock. What an amazing difference. They are worth every single penny. I have washed them many times and line dry them as well as the socks and they wash awesome. I cannot say how much I love these tights. Best ever. I am sure for athletes these are tremendous, but for me they have been a lifesaver. I love them.

Update: Here we are 9 months later and these compression leggings are going strong. Washed and line dried many times, they have kept their compression properties and their shape. The fabric is like the day I opened them. Overall the compression is better than any TED hose and my legs have improved with increased circulation. Although mainly sedentary in my lifestyle due to heart failure, I believe using these leggings has literally improved my lower extremity circulation and overall well being. I know these are for athletes, however the medical properties have got to get put out for all to consider. Amazing product.

UPDATE: here we are, two years later and these pants are still like new. I Wear them every day either on their own or under clothing, ( which by the way, are completely unnoticeable. No different than if wearing pantyhose or tights. Also very breathable, they do not cause you to overheat ), and the relief is still incredible. The strength of these pants, as thin as they are, is unbelievable. The compression properties have not lost any of their stability, regardless of the constant wear and washing. I’ve gone through a fourth procedure on my heart since owning these, and I don’t know how I would’ve gotten through any of them without these pants. In fact, when at the hospital for my last procedure, the nurses and doctors commented on how amazing these are for medical purposes, which is what prompted me to do a second update. My surgeon could not believe the difference in my legs the morning they brought me in for my procedure. I hadn’t had them on for several hours the day before as I was going through some testing, and my legs were a bit swollen and I had commented I couldn’t wait to get my compression pants back on because my legs hurt. When I got ready for bed that evening I put my pants back on and slept with them on, and my doctor could not believe that there was no water retention, or swelling in my legs whatsoever the next morning . The fact that they are so easy on and off, no fighting with the Ted hose, and their functionality is absolutely amazing. In fact, anyone who has had to fight with the Ted hose should absolutely throw those in the trash and never look back. The relief that these provide alone, would have prompted me to throw my Ted hose out. The fact that they are on and off in a flash just makes it that much better. This is absolutely the best $90 I have ever spent, in my life, on anything. I’m changing my rating to 20 stars!

Update: THREE YEARS LATER! And I’m coming back to say how awesome these still are!’ Continues to hold shape and compression properties. They are still just as perfect as the day I opened the package with almost constant wearing since purchase!!!

Material is fairly thin, but has held up well over the last few months. Is more durable than it seems. As it is thin, I would never ever wear these out in public without something over or under them as you’d be giving everyone a show. The drawstring on them is absolutely necessary for me as they’re made a bit more for the straight figure. They do compress, but it’s more of a light compression. As a post-recovery aid they are not as effective as the 2XU Compression Recovery socks (which are like magic they work so well) but do make a small difference. Because they are light compression you can wear them during exercising such as walking or running. I’d not wear them for cycling as the seams would be, ah, difficult to sit on for a while.

These are good, not the best. They offer a good amount of compression, however the material is a bit itchy. these pants are VERY see through when bending or stretching, shorts worn over are a necessity. Other reviewers have said that the waist is baggy and they don’t like the drawstring, I had the opposite problem. I fond the waist band to be uncomfortably tight and it bites into my belly. I have a slender athletic build, so it’s not a matter of fat around the middle. A size (or 2) up may alleviate this problem but I think that the pants would then lose their compression value. Perhaps these work well with a more curvy figure but personally cannot get comfortable. will continue to use them as they work well enough

I was excited to receive these because of the great ratings. Sadly, they are just regular tights. They definitely sheer so you have to wear dark underwear. They are tight but they didn’t give me the compression like my CW-X ones. I ran twice in them about 5 miles each time. They fit okay but I would rather have spent the money on another pair of CW-X tights or two pairs of NB tights.

BEST compressions I have ever owned! I waited about a year to find these on sale because they are really pricey and I have wasted a lot of money on tons of compression pants just to be disappointed. No disappointments with these. I will pay full price for them anytime. They are tight, soft, comfy and really make my legs feel so much better when I’m going through a flare. I have Mixed Connective Tissue Disease with polymyositis so my leg muscles and tendons suffer tremendously. These have just the right compression where needed and help me feel so much better. Will definitely buy more of these and live in them.

These are great pants for running, exersising and recovery. Comfy and light. The thing I hate is the inner pocket, it’s really unnecessary and it’s hard to remove. Also mind that the pants would run a little short for tall gals, and there’s no tall option for XS. With 2XU I opt for the smaller size as they’re more compressing this way. But I don’t mind them being shorter than average leggins. I also own a long CW-X Stabilyx pair and those are more compressing, thicker, and they also have great knee support. But their problem is the waist, it goes high and you can’t use them for recovery because they’re too tight (awesome for hiking, though). Noticed that literally everyone in Norway had a pair of 2XU when I went there. Can’t go wrong with those!

2XU brand are my favorite. They do come with a warranty, but the manufacture never gets back to you. That is the only bad part. Other than that I love their products for compression.

These are amazing! I wear them to stand up paddle and surf so they also provide me with sun protection, I don’t know if they are rated for that but they work. Great to order from Amazon as I found them hard to find in stores and other similar brands are not as good. I get the XL, I’m almost
5’10" so they are long, the Large work but I like the XL’s. I wash these beauties and hang them to dry. The fit is amazing and they make you
feel like you can take on the world. I never write reviews but these pants are worth it. Also I have worn them to spinning. Even in the biggest surf they never come off or down. I would never throw these in the dryer or store in a hot place like a car,as the x on the pants is an iron on and they will stick together but can be pulled apart and no damage to the tights.

I’m very pleased with these tights. They really do a great job in preventing muscle camping in my legs especially after a 5 mile run or hard weight training. I liked them so much, I bought 2 pairs.

I LOVE these tights!! They fit amazing, look great, not see-thru at all. I would order them again. I feel more energy when wearing them and working out – maybe it’s because how great they make my legs look and the cool design. I will be ordering more in the future. You won’t be disappointed. I’m 5’2 and 117 Ibs and ordered XS (if that helps) 🙂
