To be honest I did not like this dress at first mainly because I don’t like very bright colours.
I actually felt like a tomato when I first wore it. However, the non-stop compliments from strangers and familiar people that I receive every time I wore it had inspired me to keep and wear it more often.
The fit is superb as with all AGB dresses that I own – true to size. I am 5′ 6” -140/5lb purchased size 12 – to gain that flattering rather than clingly/bodycon appearance.
I live in the Caribbean and for the number of compliments (from men/women) I get whenever I wear one of their dresses no matter how simple it is like this red dress- OF COURSE not taking away from my body contour (slender to average) – if AGB had an outlet here they would have been sold out. It’s like I am AGB’s Caribbean model.
Was very impressed by this dress. It is a fiery red, with a flattery cut and fit. There is back zipper that is a bright copper colour, but that does not detract from the dress. This dress is much more modest than I was expecting-but that certainly is not a bad thing. The material is kind of strange, thick and sort of a knit, but it works.
This is a lovely dress to wear as we are just coming into Spring. The fabric is heavy enough to give it some warmth. Cut is very flattering.
I’m 5ft 3" and the length is just right to wear to work and for an outing as well. The color and cut are flattering for even a curvy one like me. I love my new dress.
I purchased this as a halloween costume, but received compliments on the way the dress fit all day long. The fabric and fit was very flattering.
