I am 5’2" and 135lbs. This fit me well and came down just past my knees. The material is a thicker gauze material. It is light weight and slightly see through, but not as see through as some other gauze cover ups that I have seen.

As other reviewers have stated, the product does bleed. The dye has not been set. In order to set the dye and wash out the extra, I washed it twice in my bathroom sink and used vinegar in between the washes. The vinegar worked to set the dye. To dry it, I hung it over the shower curtain rod. The knots in it still seemed to get messed up, even though I washed it carefully in the sink. When I tried to fix the knots, the gauze tore slightly in between two knots. I thought this was very unacceptable. It tore as if it were tissue paper. If you choose this product, make sure that you are extremely careful as the fabric is very delicate. I would suggest getting a sarong ring or something similar rather than tying it. If you tye this product without one, it will tear.

Overall, it is a decent product. I do not believe that it was worth $18, but it will work alright if I am extremely careful. I’m not sure that this will last more than one season. I probably wouldn’t buy another one of these. There are better options out there.

I love wearing sarongs in the summer to the beach and the pool! If I need a great quick cover-up I always go to them. This came packaged, and when opened it felt damp to the touch, and a dead beetle fell out 🙁 YUCK. It did not wash well with the tassles. I have had one that I picked up for about the same price 13 years ago and it still looks great compared to this. Sadly this went to the garbage can.

I have purchased more than one – only because I wanted more colors or patterns. I love this sarong. It was my constant companion on a trip to Croatia. It was always in my bag – it gets softer once you wash it. I used it for sweaty days hiking (having something to wipe my face) but also for beach days as a towel or rolled up like a pillow. It’s the perfect size. Enough to cover you, but small enough to be a scarf for a plane ride, etc. These are the only sarongs I buy.

When I choose my selections from the color chart I chose two different purple’s (one light one dark). I had to do this several times in order to make sure I was getting two different shades/colors. What I received were three of the exact same dark purples. The price did not make if worth my going through sending back and trying to get a credit or the right colors. I never write reviews because mostly Im happy with vendors on amazon. If the color chart is not a true depiction of your colors you are not keeping to the standard I hold amazon vendors to.

This is the third sarong I’ve bought from this company in 6 years and they have all been great! The fit, color, material of the first one I bought 6 years ago is the same quality as the one I just bought. I love these sarongs; they are way better than anything I’ve found at local stores. They are perfect to wear as a cover-up over a bathing suit. I wash and dry them just like any other clothing item and I have had zero problems. I’ve worn them many times over the years on vacations and they’ve held up perfectly. I’m a size 12 and 5’7" and they fit me perfectly with plenty of fabric to tie around my waist or bust line.

This is a lovely, sheer-like sarong. It is made with plenty of material to cover up and the fringing adds a nice style touch. The color matches all of my suits with brown or beige in them. This cover-up will be an excellent look on the beaches on our next cruise!

Very cute, I purchased this sarong for a trip to Mexico and it ripped in two places as I was putting it on. Luckily the company refunded my money even though it was after the return period

Quality material and beautiful teal color. It’s a loose dress on the thin model, but just fits to wrap around my 5’3", 36DDs, and size 10 frame.

Didn’t hold up well after my first wash in cold water and hanging to dry

Be careful when you get this wet, mine started bleeding the color all over my clothes.
When I rinsed it, the water turned dark blue. I rinsed it for about 10 minutes, trying to get all of the dye out, and gave up, the water kept on turning blue. I eventually just laid it out to dry, and made sure it didn’t get wet or touch any of my other clothes.
