I was looking for the earwarmer to replace the broken one which looks exactly like the one on this pic. What I received was completely different in terms of materials. They feel and look cheap, not even close to what is on the pic! I am quite disappointed.

I bought these for myself during the winter of 2013-14 in the Chicago-land vacinity. I love them!! i am a professional that wears a suit every day and these complement my professional attire perfectly. Very warm – I’ve worn them in -20F weather and can’t complain. I also like the grey versus the black. Everyone has black – be different – get the grey! AND, the price can’t be beat!!!

I wear a uniform and can not have any labeling on my earwarmers. So generally this meets my needs- just is a bit more stiff than my original 180s.

Actually this picture is not correct. You would assume only a little white label is branded with 180s, however what came was a very large plastic label "180s" across the entire back that I was able to peel off (i.e., was affixed by some sort of moderate adhesive) and if you look closely there is discoloration where the "180s" originally was placed. I like the solid black as this fits with my uniform.

While a bluetooth version of these earwarmers exist, it is not exact so I can’t wear it with my uniform. I did buy the Bluetooth version that was black but it has a bright red and blue glowing button- it really makes it difficult to wear with a uniform. I wish there was a Bluetooth version that looked exactly like this – where the button is black and there was no glowing when on so I can wear with my uniform.

Along with my NorthFace Bionic jacket these were the next item of "must bring" gear when I went on a recent trip to Patagonia in the autumn. The wind there whips with cold frenzy and one cannot go without ear protection! These are an affordable way to offer that. After a few hours one of my ears began to ache, but in all honesty, that always happens when I wear earmuffs or headphones of any brand.

Even with the whipping cold brutal wind, all that was needed was the fleece and to cover ears up and these did exactly that! Those who didn’t have such ear protection looked at me with envy! 😉

They always felt like they were going to fall off, no matter how I tried to adjust them. They also left residue from the black textile dye on my face if I put them on with moisturizer on, and bled in the laundry whenever I tried to wash them to minimize the skin stains

I don’t normally write reviews, but I had to make an exception for these ear warmers. They are super comfortable, easily fit into my winter coat pocket when not in use, and making walking in the cold much more enjoyable. I can’t believe I went this long without a pair of these. I think there’s a cheaper pair available on Amazon, but from the reviews that one doesn’t fold up to be tucked away into a jacket pocket. If your tired of cold wind hitting your ears and are looking for ear warmers, I highly recommend buying this.

I have a fat head, these barely cover both ears and stay on. Would love it if they would be in inch longer. Still, I wear them often and they work pretty well. Less sound muffling effect than I expected, but still hard to hear sometimes. Not for use as a hearing protection device.

The product I received was exactly as described and pictured. I have a very narrow head but did not have any trouble with the product sliding off my ears. I had purchased another 180’s ear warmer several years prior and loved it but recently lost them. I tried wearing my winter cap but that ruined my hair for work so ordered these. Overall I’m satisfied, but deducted a star because they feel a little thinner and flimsier than the prior ear warmer I had. Not sure if that is due to the model type or drop off in quality.

If you need a quick fix for warm ears, these are for you. However if you need to where these consistently thought the winter, pick a different brand with a softer shell.

Does this product keep your ears warm? Yes. That said, there are a few cons. First, the ear covers are huge. Not quite pie plate size, but easily coffee mug. They will cover the entire sides of a normal head. Second, the covering is made out of a rough material – maybe nylon and polyester – that scuffs on coats. As you walk or move your head that sound is pounded right into your skull. Third, the packaging is overkill: these come in a plastic shell. Finally, there’s a note on the packaging that says "don’t even try it" indicating that every customer night be interested in stealing 180’s patents. I love to be presumed a thief by companies I make purchases from.

Very sturdy and warm. Great for Chicago winters. I wish these were cheaper though, but because of the brand they’re not. I’ve tried other brands and they’re usually not good. Although, I will mention that my friend got a pair of 180s once and they were really bad quality. Rest assured though that the Ment’s Urban type are quite good. 🙂
